Sam Tuttle presentation for the Rotary Club in Madrid
Rotary recap
On April 6, Rotarians gathered via Zoom and were visited by Sam Tuttle, a local student from the Drummond area that will travel as part of the North Star Youth Exchange from Rotary District 5960. Sam is the son of Kelli Tuttle, a fellow Rotarian from the Hayward Club.
Sam will head to Madrid, Spain in early September and live with a few different host families during his one year abroad. As part of his exchange responsibilities, he will make a presentation to the Rotary Club in Madrid and he shared his presentation draft with our club members today in English, though he’ll be expected to present in Spanish! Sam’s presentation highlights the local area; his hobbies which include mountain biking, fishing, skiing and horseback riding; as well as his plans to study agriculture in university.  Interestingly, all three of Sam’s brothers also were Rotary Exchange Students.
We enjoyed Sam’s presentation and wish him the best of luck.
