We enjoyed Joel Clapero's presence at the last Hayward Area Rotary Meeting February 2, on zoom of course. Joel spent time updating us on the various issues in law enforcement in Hayward. He discussed homelessness, narcotics, theft, and other criminal activity. Overall he had a lot of good things to say about Hayward and how the residents of Hayward often assist them in locating and reporting crimes. We had questions on the sources of illegal drugs, how they arrive in Hayward and which are used most commonly in Sawyer County. Thank you, Joel for your interest in speaking to our Rotarians.
