Univ. of WI - Eau Claire: New Bachelor degree program

Abbey earned her Ph.D. in biological chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 2005. Since that time, she has been a student-focused and highly engaged chemistry faculty member at Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, the University of Minnesota – Morris, and finally UW-Eau Claire – Barron County. She has been a highly engaged member of UWECBC and the Rice Lake community since joining campus in 2016. In January 2023, Abbey became the ECBC Campus Director. She looks forward to expanding the campus’s College Credit in High School programming, outreach to underserved populations, and partnerships with local employers to increase recruitment and retention of students and employees.
